About Imbolc/Là Fhèill Brìghde
Traditionally in Ireland & Scotland this is a time where we gather to mark the cross-quarter day between Solstice & Equinox. In both Ireland & Scotland we celebrate the Celtic festival of Imbolc, marking the start of spring - traditionally on February 1st - which sees the merging of pagan traditions of the goddess Brigid (poetry, crafts, fertility) with the Christian feast day of Saint Brigid (a significant figure in Gaelic culture).
